Thank you for choosing “Az-Book-Ah!” Kids Center. Please read carefully some important information provided below.

General Policies
Your child (children) must be registered for a class (classes) he/she wants to attend.
Yearly registration and educational materials/supply fee (non-refundable) in the amount of $65.00 per student is due at the time of registration.
Registration form needs to be filled out for every sibling attending classes.
Our Center has “open-door policy”, where you child can be dropped-in for his class (classes) as long as child (children) is able to take care of his (hers) basic needs.
Your child (children) will be at teacher’s supervision while in class. However, we are not able to supervise your child at all times between classes, so please advise your child (children) to behave appropriately and not to leave the building without your presence.
Please remember, that our classes are not a childcare program and we are not licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency to provide caretaking tasks such as toileting, diapering, feeding and disciplining your child (children). Therefore, we ask you to stay on premises during your child’s (children’s) classes and be available to respond immediately to your child’s caretaking needs as they arise. Otherwise, if you fail to comply with these conditions of child care, the program will not be able to provide caretaking tasks for the child.
Child/children will be released only to the parents or people listed as caregivers/additional pick up on enrolment application.
The program is not responsible for the care or supervision of children after their class is over or beyond the closing time. If you drop-in your child (children), please be on time for pick up. Be aware of traffic condition and plan your trip accordingly. If you have not arrived on time to pick up your child, our staff will attempt to reach you by phone at any and all numbers provided on the registration form. If we are not able to reach you or another contact person during two hours after closing time, we will have to contact local police department and Department of Children and Families. A late pick up fee of $20 per child for every 15 minutes will be charged at the time of pick up and go towards compensation to the person watching over your child (children).

Tuition and Refund Policies
Tuition is due on the first day of class. If your payment is late by more than 5 days, you will be charged a late payment fee of $15
If your payment is late by more than 14 days your enrolment may be terminated.
Should you bounce a check, there is a bounced check fee of $50.00
If you need to reschedule a private class, you need to notify us at least 4 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged in full for the missed class.
If you wish to withdraw from your private class session for any reason and at any time, unused tuition only will be refunded fully.
If your class of choice will be cancelled due to insufficient enrolment, refund for that class will be provided in full.
No refunds will be provided if a student misses a class for any reason. Only one make up classes per term will be allowed. Make up classes must be scheduled directly with your teacher.
Refund can be provided in full only if requested prior to program start.
There will be NO Refund issued after first week of program. Student can be transferred to another class, if space allows or unused tuition can be credited back to the student account. In case of transfer, participant will be obligated to pay $20 transfer fee and cover difference in class tuition cost at the time of transfer.
All refunds will be issued in form of business check.
We kindly ask you to notify us of all cancellations at least one month in advance. If your child re-enters the program, a new registration fee of $65.00 will be required.
Registration fee is non-refundable.

“Az-Book-Ah!” Kids Center reserves the right to dismiss any child from the program without explanation provided. In that case refund for unused classes will be provided.

Weather and Holiday Policy
The safety of children and their families is priority for us, therefore classes will be canceled during snow storms, however, decisions will be made on case to case basis. Class cancellation will be posted on our Website and Facebook page. All canceled classes will be rescheduled.
“Az-Book-Ah!” Kids Center will be closed on following dates:
New Year Day, Orthodox Christmas, Martine Luther King Day, President’s Day, Easter Sunday, Orthodox Easter Sunday(if different),Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve.
There will be no makeup classes or adjustment on monthly tuition for missed classes due to holidays listed above.
Center will remain open during school vacations. Christmas and summer vacation is a subject to change.

Emergency Evacuation Policy
Safety of your children is our number one priority. Therefore, we will be conducting fire evacuation training twice a year. All families will be notified 2 weeks prior to the training. Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with our Fire Escape Plan and meeting place outside of the building in the case of emergency. Once all of the children are safely evacuated from the building, all parents will be contacted by phone listed in enrollment application.
“Az-Book-Ah!” Kids Learning Center preserves the right to change the Center rules at any time. All families will be notified of any change in writing two weeks prior to changes become effective.

Additional Information
The learning process consumes a lot of energy in children, and they have to have a snack during the day. There is a 5-8 minute break between classes. During this break, kids can have a snack, so please send light snacks with your child.
To protect your child’s clothes from getting paint stains during art classes, we recommend bringing an apron, or an old shirt of T-shirt that can be worn over regular clothing.
Please have your children wear comfortable casual (not “dressy”) clothing for our classes. This will let kids focus on classes and not worry about staining their clothes.
During the winter or rain, please bring indoor shoes for your children.
If your child is sick, please do not bring him or her to class until the incubation period is over. Please let us know for at least 1 hour prior to class start that your child will be absent, and, if possible, reschedule the missed class or take homework (when applicable), so that your child doesn’t fall behind the rest of his or her group.
Our center is not responsible for lost or broken personal items of the students.
“Az-Book-Ah!” Kids Center reserves the right to change any policies at any time. Written notice will be provided within 2 weeks of change.
